”THE HELL TOTH HEROES"
An exciting romantic action drama
from Universal, "The Hell '^''Sth Heroes,"
playing Thursday, July 2li, at the GAL^S
THE/i-TRE, stars Rod Taylor and Claudia
Cardinale and co-stars Harry Guardino,
Kevin licCarthy and Peter Deuel. A Tech
nicolor production, the story deals with
a precarious air cargo service that be
comes involved with smuggling in libera
ted Europe and North Africa following
World War II.
In "The Hell With Heroes" Taylor is
a would-be teacher x-iho has served as a
pilot with the 8th Air Force and finds
himself operating an air cargo service
based in Oran, Algeria. In order to keep
his less than profitable venture afloat
he resorts to dealing with Guardlno, a
notorious smuggler.
MLss Cardinale, the curvacious Ital
ian beauty who made her Hollyi'jood debut
in Universal's "Blindfold," piortrays a
war-displaced member of an aristocratic
family who has fallen on hard times and
now lives as Guardlno's mistress.
As an American who pursues the fast
buck, Guardino is a wanted man by the
police of many countries, but eludes ap
prehension through every stratagem in
cluding briberty and murder.
