The play by Noel Coi^ard is titled "Hay Fever." Featured in the leading role of a vivacious actress is Esther Carroll of Toronto, Ontario, lyass Carroll has done extensive professional theatre work in Canada, She has a winter home in Ocala, Florida, and recently played the same role for HCT director Mchael Hall in a production at the Ocala Civic Theater. Local residents and members of the HCT summer staff will complete the cast. Other plays scheduled for the summer are "The Man Inlho Came to Dinner", a comedy by Kaufman and Hart, to play July 16-195 "The Mousetrap", a mystery by Agatha Christie set for July 30-August 2 and again August 7-8, "The Warm Peninsula," a love story by Joe Jfesteroff August 13-16; and "The Cave Dwellers", a fantasy by William Saroyan scheduled for HCT August 27-30, Membership in HCT is now available at $30.00 for Patrons, providing them with two tickets to each of the five plays. Angels may contribute $50. or more to the non-profit group and Century Don ors give $100 or more. HCT RE-WIRING FUND More contributions are needed for the HCT re-wiring fund. A successful campaign to raise money for essential re-wiring of the Highlands Comirainity Theatre is now in progress, with the public asked to send contributions to HCT at Box 896, Highlands. Before the summer theatre can open its doors this summer the entire lighting system must be re-wired. The summer theatre is a non-profit community organi zation. Work is now in progress by Jim Painter, but more money is needed for completion. The theatre has received $805 to date from interested members and resi dents, A total of $1500 is needed to complete the project. HCT director I'fichael Hall has re turned to assume managerial duties for a second summer. He is now in residence at the theatre and will be actively re cruiting actors for the five plays to be given. HIGHLANDS HIGHLIGHTS Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schowalter at their home on Mirror Lake were Mr. and Ifrs. Edgar P. Schowalter of Kansas City, Kansas, and Reverend and Mrs. I'fervln Edeiger, also of Kansas City.
