MRY NEELY SUCCUI'BS Services for M?s. Jfery Brooks Neely, 91y who died Sunday night in an Asheville hospital were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Highlands First Baptist Church, of which she had'been a member for 60 years. Her husband, H. Benson Nee3y preceded her in death some years ago. Pallbearers were Mrs. Neely*s grandsons, Tom and Jim Hunt,'F.7. Press ley, Steve Ear^y, Ifeck Neely, Ligon Gresswell and James L. Sealey. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of the church* Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. T. R. Hunt of Franklin and l^s. Sidney McCarty of Highlands with whom she made her home for the past 20 years | nine grandchildren, 2U great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The Rev. Ifervey Stewart, pastor of the First Baptist Church conducted the services. Burial was in Highlands Memorial Park. BRQOTAY STAR IN HIGHIAITO A quiet, smiling and very pretty Claire Luce spoke of her pleasure in finding such a spot as Highlands, and the contrast of the clean, unpolluted air and cool climate after leaving Nei^ York.
