Services for M?s. Jfery Brooks Neely,
91y who died Sunday night in an Asheville
hospital were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in
Highlands First Baptist Church, of which
she had'been a member for 60 years. Her
husband, H. Benson Nee3y preceded her
in death some years ago.
Pallbearers were Mrs. Neely*s
grandsons, Tom and Jim Hunt,'F.7. Press
ley, Steve Ear^y, Ifeck Neely, Ligon
Gresswell and James L. Sealey. Honorary
pallbearers were deacons of the church*
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
T. R. Hunt of Franklin and l^s. Sidney
McCarty of Highlands with whom she made
her home for the past 20 years | nine
grandchildren, 2U great-grandchildren
and three great-great grandchildren.
The Rev. Ifervey Stewart, pastor of
the First Baptist Church conducted the
services. Burial was in Highlands
Memorial Park.
