MOCCASIN MASSACRE (CONTINUED FROM PAGE I9) much good for the Billingsleys kept on a-coming. So he prayed again - the only prayer he could remember from having heard it at meal-time; "Oh, Lord, let us be thankful for what we are about to receivei" And still the Moccasin Greek boys came on* Then Uncle Joel’s training in the Confederate ArTfiy came to the fore and the old Rebel spirit was aroused. Reaching for his rifle, he said "Oh, Lord, if you won’t help me, just don’t help the Billingsleysi" For some reason, unknown to this day the Billingsley boys passed by silently in single file, disappeared in the woods and Uncle Joel wiped his forehead and rolled on - unharmed. Thus ended the Moccasin War. But not the moonshining. That will continue as long as one Blue Ridge Mountain is left to curve across the sky. - Sarah Summer LADIES* Dresses Weejuns Skirts Shorts Villager Shoes S c 1/2-1/3 6 more off NE¥ FALL MERCHANDISE MEN'S Suits Sport Coat Sla cks Sweaters Shirts
