Winner of the Denny Elssay Cup'
was Charles Thomas Shirley. His

Charles, a s<^omore from Wilson
County, Is interested in writing and
dramatics, having taken part in
several Stage arid Script produc
tions. He took the leading role in
the T^ay that the club pre.sented
at the drama festival in Green
ville recently.
The Kiwani.s Cup, presented each
year since 1922 to the best all
round athlete, haj^ as its objective
the fostering of clean sports in
athletics. T^e award this year
went to Jerry Williams and Ronald
Percise. whose outstanding records
in the field of sports have ben-
