Receives Honor
Larry Jones, captain of the
1966-67 basketball team has re
cently been named to the Hon
orable Mention roster of the All-
American N.A.LA, Team.
Prior to this honor, Jones had
been selected as a member of
the 10-man All-Carolinas Confer
ence Team and the 10-man Dis
trict 26 N.A.LA. Team.
According to Coach Ira Nor
folk, team captain Jones’ per
formance “was instrumental in
the ACC team attaining their
first winning season in six years
and completing their season as
the fifth ranked team in the
nation in the N.A.LA. final sta

Miscellaneous
Nick Serba and Bob Coving
ton, both business majors at
ACC have been named to the

be said that they are “back in
the saddle” as they were on
the team last year. Serba is a
senior from Wilson and Coving
ton a sophomore from Rocking
ham.
Three members of the ACC
baseball team have been named
to the Dean’s list at ACC. Watt
Moore and Wade Johnson, P. E.
