The procession began with the attendants, two representatives from each class, followed by the honorary attendant, Miss Gloria Dash and finally her majesty, in all her regal beauty Miss Jemmie Peevy. The scene for the queen and her court activities was slightly changed when an unscheduled shower began. The queen with royal sweep of her gown proceed ed to the chapel. There amid the somber beauty of the chapel the festivities continued. The parti cipants proceeded to get a scene of gaiety and fun. The theme of the May Day: A Masquerade to Spring, was set to Music and Dance, The program was truly a trib ute to spring. There was only one slight disappointment, however, the annual May pole Dance was terminated.
