Break Time is Near
Spring Break begins March 2-10. E)on’t forget that all

'African Garb’ Contest sponsored
Smile and wear your best Afrocentric outfit all day on
March 22. The Bennett Banner is sponsoring an "African
Garb Day," in celebration of National Women's History
Month. This contest is open to the entire Bennett College
community -- students, staff, and faculty. First, second, and
third place prizes will be awarded at following ACES March
26. The Banner photogr^her will be taking pictures
throughout the campus on the day of the contest

but a three time loser. His third,
self-titled, album can be found
bumpin in every other car from
Lexus Coupes to Ho(q)tie Coupes.
This is the first time since Pub
lic AnncMjncement graced the wax
with Kelly thathe has enlisted the
help of others on one of his al
bums. Biggie Smalls puts the
finishing touches on “Be Hi^py” a
track with a groovin base deep
enough to drown in and Ronald
Isely lends his smooth croonin to
“On the Down Low.”
The album is definitely good
listening but it’s not another “12
Play.” There aren’t as many slow
tracks on this album as I expected.
There are a few tracks to pump at
a party, two or three to play when
you’re unwinding and others to
play when your mother’s not
around (it wouldn’t be R. Kelly if
there wasn’t at least one freak

was angry that 1 hesitated to buy it.
