Freshwomen Stepshow raises $2,000

Nov. 19 is a date that the class
of 2001 will always remember.
On that date, Barge, Jones,
Pfeiffer and Reynolds residents
raise more than $2,000 as they
showcased two months of hard
work and dedication in the Fresh-
woman Stepshow.
The event took place in Goode
Gymnasium. The money raised
will be used for scholarships for
freshwomen.

put them in each of the dorms.

“We do this project not only
for Thanksgiving and Christmas,
but every month we get the chance
to do it, because people are in
need all year ‘round, and not just
on the holidays,” said Regina
Bias, a senior accounting major
from Washington, D.C.
“In America thousands of
people go day to day without food
and clothing, and since Zeta Phi
Beta is a community based orga
nization, we feel it is our duty to
help the homeless.”

the time,” Griffith said.
