Three common types of com mercial transportation most often used by students are airplane, train, and bus. Air and train tickets can be costly for a student. Traveling by bus may be less expensive, but the trip can take much longer. Students who make reservations more than two weeks in advance will often see that fares tend to decrease dramatically. On major air carriers, it may be difficult for travelers to find fares under $75 for any destination out side of North CaroUna. Local travel agents and telephone fare-search agencies often offer cheaper seats on airplanes. Dudley's Travel Agency in Kemersville offers stu dent discounts.
