Whether it is right or wrong, we still do it. However, by what standards should we judge each other? Better yet, by whose standards should Christians judge themselves? Should it be by other Christians, who also have faults of Christ? What is right for me is not necessarily right for another person. Everyday I don’t do what is in the best interest for myself, let alone for others in my community. People are different and have different standards for conducting themselves as well as living their lives. Even in a particular religious faith, believers practice differently, such as the way a believer chooses to dress, interpret the doctrines, even the practice of rituals. The history of all religions prove people don’t all have the same standards of conducting themselves or the same expecta tions of other, and/or the interpretation of doctrines. Thus, different denominations arise. Since believers of the same faction don’t all conduct them selves the same way, how can they force others to interpret the doctrines the same way? Traditionally, Greek societies were founded on one mission - service to the community. Therefore, how can the church, the heart of the community, not view sororities and fraternities as Christain- based? I encourage you all to continue the dialogue and take it further. It is not the organi2ation or the members that should be condemned, but the practices, if they prove not to be of service to the commu nity. Change is and will be the force that will keep Bennett judgement, standing. It all boils down to your Greekdom class conflicts with personal relationship with God. Christianity because sometimes If your secure in your walk with during your initiation you are God, then nothing can sway your forced to do things that are obscene and that will interfere with what you believe. Christians are taught that God is to be apart of their lives ...sol do not see why there should be a conflict.... If Christ is first in your life then other beliefs are secondary.
