On page thirteen of this issue the rules of the contest are listed. All entries must be submitted on before January 15th., accom panied by a certificate of the at tending physician. It is estimated that more than 400 employees and their husbands and wives were present, with nearly one,-fourth of them winning fine prizes. Girl: “Do you have any green lipstick?” Druggist: “Green lipstick!” Girl: “Yes, a railroad man is go ing to call on me tonight.” A good speaker drives home ev erything but his audience. CHILDREN’S YULE (Continued From Page One) after the holidays and that there should not be any unnecessary gatherings of children. In further carrying out the rec- omendations of the board, Ecusta cancelled its regular movie for this week Thursday and for next week Thursday, December 26th. If by January 2nd, conditions war rant, the regular Thursday movies will be resumed. Notices will be posted announcing the date of the next movie. All arrangements had been com pleted for one of the biggest Chil dren’s Christmas Parties in the history of Ecusta this year with a special program of children’s Christmas movies in the cafeteria and with Santa Claus (himself) here in person again with his many helpers to give more than 2,000 special boxes of goodies to all the kiddies. An Englishman, a Welchman, and a Scot were at the local pub. There were three flies buzzing around, and one happened to make a landing in each drink. The Eng lishman took a spoon and removed the fly from his drink. The Welsh man dipped his hand in his drink, removed his fly and flipped it across the room. The Scot careful ly lifted his fly—and wrung it out. Intolerance makes an insecure cornerstone for any new building.
