Elton Lewis Are
Married In Georgia
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Baughn of
Brevard, announce the marriage of
their daughter, Frances, to Mr. El
ton Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. D.
E. Lewis, of Carolina Beach. The
wedding took place in Toccoa, Ga.,
on May 25 at the home of Rev. Ar
thur Cline, the officiating minis
ter. The bride’s brother was also
married, making it a double wed
ding, and the double ring ceremony
was used for both.
Mrs. Lewis wore a rose dress
with white accessories. Her corsage
was of pink roses. The couple’s at
tendants were Miss Barbara Ma-
rona and Mr. Johnny Cagle, boll
of Brevard.
The bride graduated from Frank
lin high school and Athens Bus
iness college of Athens, Ga. She
has been employed in the Main
Office for one year.
Mr. Lewis graduated from Ed
wards Military Institute of Salem-
burg, N. C., and is at present at
tending Brevard college.
Fulton-Carter
Wedding Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Carter were
married in a quiet ceremony in the
parsonage of the First Baptist
church of Brevard on May 27 at
10:00 a. m. with the Rev. B. W.
Thomason officiating. Only a few
close relatives were present. Mrs.
Carter is the former Miss Edna
Fulton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert K. Fulton, of Brevard. Mr.
Carter is the son of Mrs. J. E.
Carter and the late Mr. Carter of
Pisgah Forest.
After a short wedding trip
through the Smokies, the couple
are making their home in Forest
Hills in Brevard.
