PAGE EIGHT THE ECHO July. 1941 S '^ithihe Miss Kilstrom To Be August Bride Of John Williams Announcement has been made of the coming marriage of Miss Grace Elvera Kilstrom, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Elmer A. Kil strom of Penrose, to Mr. John Ce phas Williams, Jr., son of Rev. and Mrs. John C. Williams, Sr., of Fremont, N. C. The wedding will be solemnized at the Faith Tabernacle in Hender sonville on August 25. The offici ating minister will be Rev. Sher man Patterson. Immediately fol lowing the ceremony a wedding reception will be held at the Mat thew Pines in Hendersonville. Miss Kilstrom graduated at Bre vard high school, and is at pres ent employed in the Finishing de partment. Mr. Williams graduated from Fayetteville high school and is now a student of theology at Bre vard college. After their marriage, the cou ple will make their home in Bre vard. You may win one of the many useful prizes to be given away! Margaret Ponder And Wilton Creech Wedding Announced Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Ponder of East Flat Rock announce the mar riage of their daughter, Margaret Nell Ponder, to Mr. James Wilton Creech, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Creech, of East Flat Rock. The wedding took place at the Meth odist parsonage of East Flat Rock on July 13 at 4 o’clock in the af ternoon. The Rev. A. F. Phibbs, pastor of the Methodist church, was the officiating minister. The improvised altar was deco rated with 'baskets of white glad ioli and branched candelabras holding lighted tapers. The couple entered together, the bride wearing a two piece aqua dress with white accessories and a corsage of red rosebuds. A reception was held immedi- .ately following the ceremony. The bridal table was covered with a >ace cloth and was centered with A two-tiered wedding cake. After the reception the couple Jeft for a wedding trip through the Smokies, the Blue Ridge Park way, and the Shenandoah Valley. They will make their home at 1645 Druids Hills in Hendersonville. Mrs. Creech is employed in Fine Paper. Her father, Mr. E. L. Pon der, works in the Storeroom.
