Miss Eula Gray Wed In Atlanta Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Gray, of Hendersonville, Rt. 4, announce the marriage of their daughter. Miss Eula Kathleen Gray, to Mr. Richard Austin Landreth, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Landreth, Sr., of Brevard. They were married November 5 in Atlanta, Ga. Judge James J. Daniell officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride wore a cocoa brown gabardine suit with dark brown accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of red rosebuds. The bride attended Etowah high school and has been em ployed in Champagne for five years. The groom attended Bre vard schools and was employed in Champagne prior to entering service where he has served two years, eleven months of which was spent overseas. Mr. and Mrs. Landreth are now making their home in North Bre vard. Virginia Taylor To Be Married Mr. Alvin M. Taylor, of Ashe ville, announces the engagement of his sister. Miss Virginia Tay lor, of Brevard and Asheville, to Mr. Charles Joseph Pickelslmer, son of Dr. and Mrs. J. B. Pickel- simer, of Brevard. The wedding will be solemnized at the Merri- mon Avenue Methodist church of A.sheville on Sunday, November 23. After the wedding the couple will make their home in Brevard. Miss Taylor, as we all know, is one who can make even a tele phone switchboard smile! Hazel Erwin And Don Heaton Wed At Balfour, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Erwin, of Hendersonville, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Hazel Erwin, to Mr. Don C. Heat- ton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hea ton, of Hendersonville. The wed ding was solemnized at the parson age of the Balfour Baptist church on October 18. Rev. Otto Pharlm officiated, with only the couple’s families attending. The bride was attired in a sol dier blue wool suit with black ac cessories. Her corsage was of roses. After the ceremony the couple left on a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach and other points in South Carolina. The bride graduated at Edney- ville high school, and the groom graduated at Parker high in Greenville. Mr. Heaton served in the navy for two years. Mrs. Heaton is employed in End less Belt and her husband works in the Machine Room. Mary M. Gardner Married In Georgia Mr. and Mrs. Mack D. Gardner, of Burnsville, announce the mar riage of their daughter, Mary Martha Gardner, to Mr. Glen Hicks, of Asheville. The couple was married in Clayton, Ga., Au gust 16. Mrs. Hicks was formerly em ployed in the Finishing depart ment five years. The couple is now living in Asheville. Frances McCall And John Hill Married Oct. 24 Mr. and Mrs. Willard McCall, of Rosman, announce the mar riage of their daughter. Miss Fran ces Genevieve McCall, to Mr. John Dennis Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hill, of Hendersonville. The couple was married October 24 in Greenville, S. C., Judge Guy A. Gullick officiating. The bride was attired in a light blue gabardine suit with black accessories. She wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Hill graduated at Ros man high school, and her husband graduated at Hendersonville high. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hill are em ployed in the Finishing depart ment. They are making their home in Hendersonville. Whitaker-Praytor Wedding Announced Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Eloise Whitaker, daughter of Mrs. Claude Payne, of Horse Shoe, to Mr. James Pray tor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Praytor, of Arden. They were married at Clayton, Ga., on September 27. The bride wore a blue dress with black accessories. Her cor sage was of red roses. She had no attendants. Mr. Lewis Moore, of Enka, was best man.
