ON THE COVER
Each year about this time baseball fever, a
harmless spring malady which affects all ages,
spreads over every village and hamlet of
America. Our community is no exception.
Rick Orr, outfielder on our Ecusta team, is
representative of the many talented Ecusta
baseball players. Rick’s on the cover this
month to portray this spirit that will hover
over the sports world until cold weather and
football crowds out the national pastime next
fall. Our Ecusta team opened its season Sat
urday, April 17, and play will continue into
early September.
