Comes June with all the blushing brides, sum
mer vacations, fishing and all the other outdoor
activities, until the cold drabness of a bitter winter
is soon forgotten. It is good to feel so alive and
free to enjoy Nature’s abundant freedom of ac
tion and abundance of joy.
Get Richard Kuykendall to give you the low-
down on the Miami, Fla. air show of June 5. He
flew his own plane down to get a first-hand sum
mary of the whole show including some of the
night stunting on the beach. It’s a lively town says
Kirk but it’s for those with lots of "moola.”
In line with the thought of vacations, Fritz
Waldrop and family are now enjoying a week
of beach strolling and surf swimming this week.
We envy even the thoughts of same.
Hunley Mehaffey wishes to ask that no more
applications be filed for "Lone Ranger Club”
membership. This is strictly an elite club and only
a few are eligible. Next week Mac will sojourn
to Florida to refresh memories of that ne’er-to-be-
forgotten honeymoon. Watch that Florida moon.
Mac, else you’ll be marrying that wife of yours
all over again.
If you want a glimpse of Craig Sharpe, be
sure to attend any or all of the Ecusta ball club
games. Craig is an ardent supporter of the team
and if schedule permits will always be on hand
come game time. Maybe we all are missing some
mighty fine sport and recreation by not doing the
same.
Jim Wingate says if it wasn’t for radio and a
pair of good hunting dogs, it just wouldn’t be
worth the struggle to keep on living. And, oh
yes, don’t forget the fishing season, too—any
luck yet, Jim?
Fred Floyd narrowly escaped serious injury re
cently when he misunderstood his wife to say
stand up instead of shut up. Just another skull
practice session, but no football, eh. Kid?
This is still leap year, Jason Orr, so you’d bet
ter slow down else you’ll find yourself all bridled
and fully harnessed one of these days.
