Ecusta Nine In
Second Place....
Holding firmly to second place in the league,
our Ecusta baseball team takes on some strong
opposition in the next few weeks. On Saturday,
June 26, Martel will provide the competition in
a loop game to be played at Camp Sapphire at
3:30 p. m. Sayles will be our opponent for the
big July 5 game at Sapphire at the same hour.
Since the last issue of THE ECHO, the team
has had its ups and downs, but still is having an
excellent season. Sayles broke the victory string
with a 6-5 decision during the month and then
Berkley whipped us 5-2 on June 5. A decisive 13-
10 triumph over Enka was the crowning blow for
us, along with the 26-8 walloping we gave Hazel-
