(2) Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Harrell (Filter Plant) won top honors in last year’s Harvest Festival. This year’s Festival will be held Friday, September 3, in the cafeteria. (3) Sixteen names of Ecustans who gave their lives in World War II are inscribed on the plaque in Memorial Grove at Camp Sapphire. (4) Our filter plant is capable of handling 25 million gallons of water daily. It is the second largest in the south, being exceeded only by the municipal plant at Atlanta, Ga. (5) Since Ecusta made its first paper the day Germany marched into Poland, September 4, 1939, that same day in 1949 will mark the com pletion of ten years at Pisgah Forest. It is estimated in the course of a six-man bowling match the pin boy will have picked up almost 30 tons of maple. TAKE OUR PICTURE ....
