V'. ’ NEW ARRIVALS From the Machine Room has come the news of the arrival of Viva Roanell Praytor, who was born at Patton Memorial Hospital, Henderson ville, on October 23. The little lady is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Praytor and she weighed 6 lbs., lOV^ oz. A son, James Arthur Cox, was born to Mr. and Mrs. James E. Cox (Refining Room) on Sep tember 12 at Patton Memorial Hospital in Hen dersonville. The new arrival weighed IV2 lbs. Edward Anthony arrived October 26 to live with Mr. and Mrs. William Hannan (Main Of fice). Born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Asheville, Edward tipped the scales at 6 lbs. 14 02. Mr. and Mrs. William L. Hunnicutt (Cost Analysis Dept.) are the proud parents of Charles Roger, who was born October 26 at Transylvania Community Hospital. The new baby weighed 8 lbs. It’s a boy—Thomas Eugene, Jr—for Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ramsay (Applied Research). He was born at Biltmore Hospital on October 15, 1948, and tipped the scales at 5 lbs., 8 02. Another new arrival at Biltmore Hospital on October 26 was Terrill Keith Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bly Rogers (Control Dept.). The youngster weighed 9 lbs., 7 oz. Plain ordinary rubber is the ingredient in bub ble gum that makes it balloon. Most bubble gum contains 22 per cent lastex rubber or rubber synthetic. Mrs. ]. B. Holden shown at left, is the former Ethel Mae Clark of Rosman, who was married in Pickens, S. C., October 9th. Mrs. Holden who works in the Finishing Department, is the daugh ter of Mrs. Carrie Clark of Rosman. The Bride groom is a member of the U. S. Army, now sta tioned in Austin, Texas.
