Families are closer at Christmas-time than at any time of the year. Carols that drift through the Christmas night are sweetened by the stillness of stars and snow and memories. Small hands cling to ours and clear thin voices follow us in "Silent Night”. No greater magic exists than the spell of com radeship woven when parents, and children sing the age-old Carols together. Shown here are W. Dent Auvil, of the Main tenance Department, and his family singing Christmas Carols. From left to right: Katherine, Mary Lou, Mrs. Auvil, Mr. Auvil, Audrey, and Carl. Besides playing the violin, Mr. Auvil is equal ly adept with the Hawaiian and Spanish guitars. Katherine plays the violin and Mary Lou the piano. 7
