A WORTHWHILE PLEA
Far too few of us
stop to realize that
prayers are being utter
ed daily in our behalf,
and there are some of
us who are not doing
our utmost to see that
every possible assis
tance is rendered to
ward such prayers
being fulfilled.
There are few homes
which have not ex
perienced the tragedy
which accompanies
serious personal injury
or sickness of the loved ones, and in many cases,
such tragedy could have been avoided through
CARE.
Our own personal welfare and safety is some
thing that each of us should he vitally interested
in, and something that tue alone can contribute
to, 7nore than anyone else on earth.

play and tvork the safe ti>ay.
Broadcast what you know about safety. It’s not
only the knowledge of safety but the practice that
counts.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
If you were connected with the Safety and

Even though this is not a Quiz Program and *
there are no cash awards offered for the correct *
answer, this could easily be classified as the
$64-00 question. In fact, your answer may be

elimination of unnecessary personal injuries to
yourself and your fellow-workers.
The Safety Department has been and always
will be, interested in receiving suggestions for
preventing personal injuries. You employees
know the hazards that exist in connection with
your respective jobs, and it is your responsibility
to notify us if we can be of help in any way. The
Safety Department is set up to act in an advisory
capacity in our accident prevention program, and
the carrying out of safe practice rules and regu
lations is really up to you and your supervisors.
It is an established fact that an accident preven
tion program, regardless of what person is at it’s
helm, can never be successful without the full
cooperation of every individual on the payroll.
