LOOK WHO'S HERE A son, David Carroll, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carroll D. Fletcher (Maintenance) at Transyl vania Community Hospital on January 10th. The youngster weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz. The William C. Bangs (Bleaching Dept.) have announced the arrival of Dorothy Virginia at Transylvania Community Hospital on January 20th. The young lady weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. Mr. and Mrs. James Sizemore are the proud parents of Mildred, who arrived on January 29th weighing 8 lbs. Mr. Sizemore works in the Power Dept. Charles Henry McCormick arrived on January 30th at Mountain Home Sanitarium. He tipped the scales at 8 lbs. Young Charlie is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. McCormick (Machine Room), Another new arrival at the Transylvania Com munity Hospital was Dania Fay Mason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mason (Inspection), who arrived on January 28th, weighing 8|4 lbs. It’s a boy for the Benjamin F. Walkers (Fibre Warehouse). Billy Dennis was born on January 28th at Transylvania Community Hospital and tipped the scales at 7 Vi lbs. From the Maintenance department comes the news of the arrival of Margaret Jean Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bob Brown. She was born at the local hospital on February 6th and weighed lbs. The first baby, of an Ecusta employee, to greet the New Year was Thomas Coleman Macfie. Tom my, son of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Macfie of Bre vard, is the 1949 winner of the $25.00 U. S. Savings Bond which the company gives each year to the first arrival. The new addition to the Macfie family was named for his grandfather, Mr. Thomas Coleman Galloway, Brevard Postmaster. He was born January 4th at 11:15 P. M. at the Transyl vania Community Hospital. Tommy is shown with his parents and his older brother, "Spank,” who is two years old. Anita and Tommy seem to be admiring the bright shirt that Spencer, of the Machine Room, is wearing. The Macfies have recently remodeled their home on Maple Street, combining the two original apartments, so the boys will have plenty of room to play for many years to come.
