tuani'^twu WHAT IS YOUR ATTITUDE? When this question is asked with reference to Safety, it is surprising just how many different I answers will be forthcoming. Some have even stated that "Safety was for the sissies”, and that I it was foolish to even bother with having the ' minor injuries treated. Such answers are far from being true, and we wish to quote an old saying about "the proof of the ptidding being in the pie”. Why? . . . Because some of our largest and strongest employees have been the victims of our more serious accident cases, and these same employees have really gone through agony, due to an infection that resulted from a late reported minor injury. Remember: Safety is for your sake. SO TRUE! In risking myself, I risk others. I believe in Safety because the bread I earn with my own hands is sweeter to me and mine a thousand times, than charity in any form. are really BETTING OUR LIVES. Nearly two-fifths of all motor vehicle deaths occur on weekends; more than one-third of all injuries occur on weekends. Keep these facts al ways in mind during your weekend trips. Re member, the greater the danger, the more need for care. There is no doubt but that day dreaming does cause personal injuries, and the dream does not follow the pattern of a beautiful girl at all times. Keeping our mind on the job at hand will always pay good dividends, and will eliminate numerous personal injuries. Striking against objects accounts for a great majority of our injuries here each month, and these cases can be decreased through having our mind on what were doing.
