PIRATES
Shown here are the Champagne Dodgers and
the Office Pirates bowling teams which are the
last two teams to be featured for the 1948-’49
bowling season of our Interdepartmental Bowl
ing League. Photos of all teams have been pub
lished to date except these two teams along
with the Cardinals and Finishing teams shown on
page 18.
The Dodgers above finished in ninth place in
the League standings. They are top, left to right:
Captain Bob Collier, Joe Perry, Herbert Webb,
Fred Brown, Paul Roberts. Inset below; left to

The Pirates, shown at right, finished the season
in fifth place. They are, top to bottom; left to
right: Benny Souther, N. L. Ponder, George
Huskamp, Jack Alexander, Pete Eberle, Fritz
Merrell and Edgar Loftis.
