Addresses by the Hon. L. Y. Ballentine, North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture, and Harry H. Straus, Jr. will highlight the eighth annual Fourth of July Picnic at Camp Sapphire on Mon day, July 4th.-As usual, a varied program of enter tainment and’sports events are scheduled, and sev eral thousands of persons are expected to be on hand for the occasion. The Ecusta Band will open the program at 10:00 A. M. From the opening until noon there will be exhibitions and contests, for which cash prizes will be awarded to the winners.
