Alice Tinsley, daughter of Mr. Mrs. J. H. Tinsley of Brevard, was married to Joseph Edgar Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Allen of Bruns wick, Georgia, on Oc tober 7th. The wed ding ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s parents with the Rev. B. W. Thoma son, Pastor of the First Baptist Chufch of Bre vard officiating. Until recently, Mrs. Al len was employed in the Medical Depart ment, and Mr. Allen was formerly employed in Refining. The young couple will make their home in Seattle, Wash ington. Miss Lois Irene 0’- Steen, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. R. C. O’Steen of Hendersonville, was married to Harry Lee Rogers of Monroe and Hendersonville on Sep tember 2'itd at the First Presbyterian Church of Hendersonville. Dr. L. T. W'ilds, Pastor, per formed the ceremony. The young couple will make their home in Hendersonville, wUe^e Mr. Rogers is in busi ness. Mrs. Rogers is employed in Endless Belt.
