Harold Misenheimer Joe Lavell BOWLERS BIDDING FOR HIGH AVERAGE HONORS The four men shown on this page are among the eight leading bowlers of the league that are trying hard to gain a position among the five bowlers with the highest individual averages for the season. Randall Lankford is almost certain of second place honor barring any unforseen mishap, but the outcome of Avery’s, Lavell’s and Misen- heimer’s finishing position is uncertain and prob ably won’t be known until the final ball is rolled on Friday night, February 24th. At present, Lavell and Avery have a 164 pin average per game, while Misenheimer has a 163 pin average. Bruce Reynolds is leading the league with a 177 pin average per game, with Lankford in second place with a 174 average, and Tom Conley is third with a 169 average. J Randall Lankford James Avery 18
