The WNC Industrial Baseball League opened its 1950 season on Saturday afternoon, April 22, with games played at Berkeley, Hazelwood, Martel and Sylva. , r ,■ Although our Ecusta team was defeated by the defendmg champions, Berkeley, by a score of 16 to 2, we feel sure that with a little more season ing the team will improve and come through to win its share of games.
