The 1950 campaign for sale of U. S. Savings Bonds was inaugurated on May 15 th, and the theme for this year’s drive is "Save For Independence—Buy U. S. Savings Bonds.” After the close of the drive, this bell will be enshrined in the State capitol. There are many fresh men on the streets this year so it wasn’t unusual that the woman went to the policeman and said, "A man has been following me for three blocks and I think he’s drunk.” Policeman (thoughtfully after looking the wo man over), "Yes, I think he must be.” 8
