The Honor Guard for the services in Brevard. We must see that communists and their fellow travelers do not get into important places in our government. We can accomplish this if everyone votes and takes an active part in our community life.” Others taking part in the program were Rev. John D. Smith, E. B. Garrett, Jr., the Ecusta Band and the Honor Guard. In the Honor Guard were Coman Hamilton, James Avery, Joe Perry, Jack Wilber, Burder Teague and Eben Morrow. In Brevard the American Legion, V. F. W., Reserve Corps, D. A. R. and the Auxiliaries of the organizations joined to pay tribute to the war dead of Transylvania. The parade started at the American Legion Building and ended at the Memorial Plot in Gillespie Cemetary. Participating in the program at the Memorial Plot were Rev. J. J.
