Twenty-three members of Ecusta families recently graduated from Rosman High School, Brevard High School, Etowah High School and from Brevard College. We feel that they have benefitted greatly from the training they have received and as a result will be able to live fuller and more useful lives. We venture the statement that as they have advanced in learn ing and their character matured, they have become more aware of their privileges as developing American citizens and the priceless heritage that is theirs to perpetuate and cherish. We are immensely proud of these fine boys and girls—proud of what they have already accomplished and confident that each of them in their future endeavors will reflect credit upon themselves and justi fy the confident hopes of all of us. To the 1950 graduates we would like to pass along a few state ments by famous persons, giving advice to boys and girls graduating from schools: ELEANOR ROOSEVELT—I would suggest that you learn how to carry responsibility as an individual. It will help you to meet the problems which will confront you when you leave school. 6
