ABOVE: Bedplates for casting machines have already been partially installed. This photograph shows the intricate re-inforced interior foundations for casting machines No. 6 and No. 7- AT RIGHT; The entire roof of the cellophane plant will be in the form of precast reinforced concrete slabs of an interlocking design. On the top surface of these slabs a 20 year bonded bi tuminous type roof is laid on asbestos felt. The roof in the photograph is that of the casting room. BELOW: All concrete is mixed in a central mix plant under carefully controlled conditions. It is transported to the site through revolving drum transit trucks. In the photograph of the chemical building is shown the mobile type receiving unit filled with mixed concrete being hoisted to one of the upper floors for use in casting the floor.
