After four weeks of play, at this writing, some sixty-one Ecustans have participated in the league matches, with much enthusiasm and keen compe tition evident. The Storeroom team started off like a house on fire by winning its first six games. How ever, the Maintenance and Papermakers team poured on the coal and at the end of four weeks of play caught up with the Storeroom in the standings, serving notice that the league’s race will be a close one. The other teams aren’t too far behind and with the season just starting a lot can happen between now and the end of the season. So you can bet your bottom dollar that the Electric Shop, Pirates, Bees, Buncombes and Champagnites will be in there fighting for top honor also. The team captains and officials of the bowling league would like to call attention to the fact that due to shift work that some of the bowlers can not be present every Wednesday night, there fore if you are a bowling enthusiast and aren’t on a team and would like to join one, please con tact one of the team captains or call the Ath letic Department, phone 266. iJS - - •- ^ 1 • - .V’ Every Wednesday night Ecustans bowl on these alleys at the Biltmore Plaza Bowling Center. 18
