ALMOST FOUR MONTHS LATER Three months and eight days after the bal loons were released at the Fourth of July picnic, Roscoe Rumfelt of East Marion, North Caro lina, returned one of the cards which were at tached to the balloons. Roscoe found the card on October 12th while he was squirrel hunting near Thermal City, N. C., with the hunting sea son in full swing these days, there will probably be a lot more cards returned to us. ECUSTANS ATTEND CAROLINA- GEORGIA FOOTBALL CLASSIC AT ATHENS, GEORGIA Some 70 Ecustans boarded two buses on Sat urday morning, October 7th, and journeyed to Athens, Georgia, to witness the North Carolina- Georgia football game. This is the fifth con secutive year the football trip has been made possible by the Athletic Department. A good time was reported by all in spite of the heat, weather which was more suitable for baseball than football. This was the first trip to Athens for the group, the four previous trips being made to Knoxville, and those making the trip enjoyed the somewhat easier trip and all it would have taken to make the trip more complete would have been a Caro lina victory, of course, the Georgia fans felt the same way, and since the Tarheels couldn’t win, they were content to settle with a tie. Those making the trip were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bagwell, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Eberle, Mr. and Mrs. George Huskamp, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Burch, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Souther, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Collier, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Head, Mr. and Mrs. Few Lyda, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Wells, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Harris, Mr. and Mrs. L.
