Right: The west side of the Chemical House and V. R. R. At the left is a portion of the Casting Room and Hopper Grinding. Vertical hoist below the stacks is used to furnish brick for inside work on the upper floors. Large crane to the right is liftmg heavy machinery to the 2nd and 4th floors of the Chemical House. Below: This time exposure was taken inside the Casting Room diagonally from the wet end of No. 2 Casting Machine across the room towards the dry end of No. 9- Note ductwork being in stalled overhead, and the mastic coating applied to ma chine frames to protect the metal from chemicals.
