BASEBALL PLAYERS HONORED WITH SPORTS BANQUET i The third annual Summer Sports Banquet hon oring our Ecusta baseball players was held in the Cafeteria on Saturday night, December l6th. Some sixty-five Ecustans attended the success ful occasion which was highlighted by the award ing of various trophies to individuals, very inter esting movies and a quiz program preceeded by a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Mr. Lee Bauer opened the evening entertain ment by awarding special prizes to some of the outstanding men of our Interdepartmental League. When we say outstanding we mean just that. Footsie Case v/as presented a pair of shoes, size OOTW (out of this world) to match his feet and m THE TROPHY WINNERS Shown above are recipients of the various tro phies awarded at the Banquet. In the bottom photograph, shown, left to right are as follows; Ray Hooper pinch-hitting for Wayne Nicholson who is in Clinton, Iowa. Mar shall Loftis who is next in line finished in a dead lock with Nicholson for the second place batting honors of the league. Rusty Carland, third in line, won the first place batting crown of the season. Ed White and Wilson Gregory, co-managers for the Machine Room, are shown holding the Camp Sapphire Series Cup won by their team in the post-season play-off. Last but not least, Troy Drake, manager of the Champagne team, proudly displays the season’s Championship trophy which was won by his team.
