With the entire Mill having experienced the lowest accident frequency
rate during, 1950 since operations began in 1939, the Safety Department
felt that everyone would be interested in the above information. This record
is the result of the interest and cooperation that was manifested by every
individual on the payroll of Ecusta and Endless Belt, and represents a great
decrease in suffering and loss of wages to our personnel as a whole.
It is very gratifying to know that the entire Mill experienced its best
safety record at 8:00 a. m. on March 20, 1951, when it had operated 117
safe days with a total of 1,001,245 manhours.
