PAPERMAKERS WIN BOWLING LEAGUE'S CHAMPIONSHIP The Papermakers captured our Interdepart mental Bowling League Crown with a record of 42 wins and 21 losses. Their nearest contenders, the Maintenance crew, finished in second place, five games behind the Champions. The Maintenance crew poured on the steam coming down the home stretch to win seven of nine games played to forge ahead of the Pirates by one game and capture the second place honors. The Pirates won their last match over the Store room keglers to take third place honors while the Storeroom finished in fourth place, three games ahead of the fifth place Bees. Gutter Gus would like to congratulate the four top teams, and also every bowler who has partici pated in the bowling matches this season, for the fine spirit of sportsmanship, fair play and fellow ship that has predominated our league throughout the season. It is needless to say that this is one of the many activities sponsored by our company that helps make Ecusta more than just a place to work. BEES WIN TEAM EVENTS HIGH HONORS IN BOWLING TOURNAMENT The Bees bowling team captured the first place honors in our annual post season’s Interdepart mental Bowling Tournament. The team event was bowled on Wednesday night, March 7th, with nine reams participating. The first place Bees finished the three game match with a total 2782 pins including handicaps to win the first place honors. The Storeroom five won second place honors with a total 2747 pins. Third place went to the Maintenance team with 2712 pins, fourth place to the Papermakers "B” team who had a total of 2649 pins and the fifth place honors went to the Ecustans who had a total 2648 pins. Other scores were as follows: Buncombes 2630 pins, Pirates 2612 pins, Papermakers "A” 2590 pins and the Champagne team 2485 pins, these scores include handicap.
