Camp Harry H. Straus Opens f ;,t# Camp Straus officially opened on Sunday, May 27rh, with the Memorial Service at 2:00 P. M. Parents of Ecustans who lost their lives during World War II were invited to attend the Me morial Service. Ecusta veterans participated in the service. Municipal and County official were also invited. The lake will be open for swimming at 3:00 P. M. This year swimming instructions will be given Monday through Saturday of each week from 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A. M. During this time the lake will be closed for other swimmers. The fol lowing is the swimming schedule for the 1951 season: MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 100 A. M. to 11:00 A. M.—:Free swimming in struction. 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M.—General swimming. 1:00 P. M. to 2:00 P. M.—Lake closed 2:00 P. M. to 6:30 P. M.—General swimming. SUNDAYS 2:00 P. M. to 6:30 P. M.—General swimming. New picnic facilities have been added, the park ing lot has been graded and packed, and the fish rearing pool has been well stocked with bass. The Band, choral, and Coaching schools and other programs at the camp will continue as in the past. The lake will be open for fishing on June 4th.
