ECUSTA LEADS W.N.C. BOWLING LEAGUE AT END OF FIRST ROUND Laurels of the month go to our Ecusta Bowling team, of the W.N.C. Bowling League, this month as it rounded out its first undisputed possession of first place in the league’s standings. Our team has two men listed among the league’s top fifteen bowlers, Bruce Reynolds rated eighth with a 186.6 pin average per game for 30 games bowled and John Emory number fifteen with an average of 184.24 pins per game for 27 games bowled. Other individual averages for team members are as follows: Lewis Meece 179-23 pins for 24 games, Ed Lass 178.15 for 21 games, Joe Lavell 178.18 for 24 games bowkd. Randall Lank ford who has bowled only 3 games for the team has an average of 212 pins per game. To be the leaders of a twelve team league with competition as tough as it is in the W.N.C. league it takes some hard work and fancy bowling. We want to congratulate our Ecusta men for their fine showing and urge them to keep up the good work. W.N.C. BOWLING LEAGUE STANDINGS THROUGH TUESDAY. NOVEMBER 13th, 1951 TEAM W. L.
