It luas Clems Oil’s day all the way as the Tigers defeated the Dsacons 21 to 1 to the delight of some and sorrotv of others. The two fine action photos shoivn be low were taken by our Echo photographer. Ecuslans Atlend Clemson- V/ake Foresi Football Game The photo of the group above, as you will readily recognize, is made up of many Ecustans who attended the Clemson-Wake For est classic. The lower photo portrays part of the half time activities carried on by the Clemson College Ca dets to entertain the spectators. The famous Clemson Drill Team is shown going through entricate drill maneuvers on the field while in the stands the ca det cheering section puts on a very impressive card display. At the time this picture was taken the cards were showing the Clemson Tiger chasing the Wake Forest Deacon. m We were greeted by this confederate escort in Pickins, S. C. 13
