INSPECTION AND CONTROL Raleigh Waldrop Holland Corn We welcome to the department Lewis Surrette and Velma Maddin. Lewis is working in Inspec tion and Velma in Ray Hoopers office. Several of the boys have been giving due credit to the "Foot Dr.” at the Medical Department. All who have visited him have reported that he has helped to make things better so far as their feet are concerned. Two of the boys who have been out for some time are Osco Dyer, who has been sick, and Troy Zachary who was injured in an auto accident. Hope you fellows will soon be back with us. It has been suggested by several that George Love would make a good Santa Claus. With George’s added weight he’d just fit a Santa Claus suit. George doesn’t say too much about the idea but he does want Inez West for one of Santa’s Helpers. All of Howard Wilkies walking isn’t due to be ing a sleep walker, it is due to all those Penicillan "shots”. Some of the boys have suggested the title of "Dr.” for Elmo McCall. Elmo, what’s the story? Ruth, what’s this we hear about a fur coat for X-mas. Did that vacation in N. Y. have anything to do with it? We are sorry that "Cindy” Brown’s mother has been sick. Hope she is soon back in good health. Bruce is all smiles these days. A look at his left hand and anyone could guess. "Shorty” Davis and Blane Johnston seem to have the title of "Farmers”. Reports are they have proven themselves as that the past summer. Mary S. what’s all this about your foot gets heavy on the accelerator. Better take it easy! Safety has no quitting time. Beware of home hazards. Take safety home with you. Anybody wanting to borrow money see Gor don Whitmire. Says he’s still making plenty deal ing in livestock. He should at the price of beef. We are all proud of our Department in the showing in the support of the new hospital wing. The employees from outside the county showed a nice spirit of co-operation as well as the "home folks”. A psychiatrist is a guy that makes you squeal on yourself. You are doing your best only when you are trying to improve what you are doing.
