AWARDING OF THE HARRY H. STRAUS MEMORIAL
TROPHY HIGHLIGHTS BASEBALL BANQUET
The initial presentation of the beautiful Harry
H. Straus Memorial Trophy highlighted the fourth
Annual Summer Sports Banquet, held in the Ecus-
ta Cafeteria on Friday night, December 15th.
Mr. L. F. Dixon, in making the presentation cf
the Straus Trophy to Wilson Gregory, Manager
of the Ecusta Yankee Baseball Team, champion
of the 1951 season, praised the late Mr. Harry
J traus highly for his profound interest in his em-
] ■ '"^.fs and their welfare. Mr. Dixon also ex
pressed praise and appreciation to Mr. George R.
Wallace, President of the Fitchburgh Paper Com
pany of Fitchburgh, Mass., for his donation of the
beautiful trophy in recognition of the friendship
that existed between these two men.
Other activities highlighting the evening’s en
tertainment included the awarding of the Play-
Off Series Trophy by Mr. Phillip C. Brownell, to
the Play-Off Champion Cardinals team, with Troy
