ECUSTANS MAKE COMMENDABLE SHOWING IN 16TH ANNUAL W.N.C. BOWLING TOURNAMENT. DAVID SAMS COPS SINGLE HONORS David Sams captured first place honors in the Singles Event of the l6th Annual W.N.C. Bowl ing Tournament, to lead the Ecusta entrants in the annual affair. Other Ecustans copped three second place honors in the tournament with our Ecusta W.N.C. team winning second place in the team event. Ed Lass and Lewis Meece took second place in the doubles event and Fritz Merrell won the second place honors in the Ail Events. STARS OF THE MONTH We have two stars for the month of January with Bruce Reynolds of the Maintenance team taking the honors for the highest individual set score and Conward McClure of the Finishing team, the high individual game honors. On Friday night January 18th, Bruce came within five pins of the leagues highest set score of 589 pins held by Ray Rigdon as he turned in a set score of 584 pins, to turn in the second high set score of the season thus far. Conward McClure turned in his highest indi vidual game score of 225 pins, for the month, on Friday night, January 18th, as his Finishing team turned in a 3 to 0 victory over the Transportation team. That alligators are not to be feared? Professor Percy A. Morris, of the Peabody Museum of Nat ural History at Yale University, says that a per son may go swimming in streams inhabited by alligators with perfect safety. There is no authentic record of a wild alligator attacking a man. That a landlord can enter a house without the tenant’s permission?
