OFFICE BITS
By Alex Duris
Notice a lot of long faces
these days. No, people are
not mad at one another! They
are just a little bit upset about
filling out income tax re
turns. Look as they will, they
can’t find enough legal deduc

Oh well^ just look forward to the day when both
the state and federal governments cut taxes.
Mrs. Mollie Spohn, is the new young lady at
the Ecusta switchboard. She comes to us from
Brevard. We are glad to have you with us Mollie,
so just pull up a chair and make yourself at home.
Charles Brewer, is leaving Ecusta for a date
with "Uncle Sam.” Charley leaves for Charlotte,
where he will be assigned to his training camp in
the army. We hope the promotions come fast

No reports of vacation’s taken. Everybody seems
to be too busy to be able to take a vacation at this
particular time. End of the year work, etc., does
not permit for dreaming of far away places and
the fun that we anticipate on vacation trips.
