7JQ«,CJL Vol. 14 MAY 1952 No. 5 PUBLISHED AND PRINTED MONTHLY BY AND FOR EM PLOYEES OF ECUSTA PAPER CORPORATION AND ENDLESS BELT CORPORATION AT PISGAH FOREST NORTH CAROLINA Charlie Russell, Editor Alex Kizer, Jr., Assistant Editor Jack D. Morgan, Art Editor Fritz Merrell, Sports Editor H. E. Newbury, Safety Reporter F. B. Ayers, Safety Reporter ON THE COVER The ol’ swimmin’ hole is usually the first place a schoolboy heads for when school is out for the summer. Obviously ignoring the “No Swimming” sign which some one, not entirely in sympathy with the whims of youth, has erected, this young fellow is tak ing his first plunge of the 1952 swimming season. Once again the lake at Camp Straus is available for use by the fishermen at Ecusta and, from all reports, there are plenty of bass and bream in the lake just waiting to take hold of an angler’s hook.
