^HE training program for supervisors recently
had its inception at Ecusta with "kick-off” ad
dresses by L. F. Dixon and N. H. Collisson.
The Paper Division met in two groups, the first
of which is shown above. Mr. Dixon explained
to these two groups that this was the beginning
of a long range development and training program
for personnel of the Ecusta Paper Division. He
emphasized the fact that the future of this division
rests in the hands of every employee. At these
meetings, F. S. Best explained the functions of
the Sales Department, and discussed the future
outlook on business conditions. M. O. Schur told
of the research and development program.
In his address, Mr. Collisson discussed the re
sponsibility of Management in the Olin Cello
phane Division, explaining the importance of this
type of training program and what can be gained
by developing one’s own supervisory abilities. A.
