and R. W. Hubbs, Polyethylene Production Man ager, told the group about the Harwid Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts—its products, its op eration and its future. "Ted” Hartshorne, Re search and Development Manager, discussed the research work being done with cellophane at the laboratories at New Haven, Connecticut. James L. Spencer, Sales Manager, and Dr. John Trues- dale. Technical Service Manager, discussed work, functions, and problems of the Sales Department, and outlook on business conditions. E. B. Garrett, Jr., presided at all of the opening sessions, and Duncan Hunter, Training Supervisor, was introduced to the groups. Aside from the opening sessions, there will be an additional sixteen sessions for each of the ten groups. Each group will have two sessions during each four-week period. In the lower photo, Mr. Collisson is shown ad dressing the Olin Cellophane group. In the front row, left to right, are Messrs. Safford, Hubbs, Hart shorne, Spencer and Truesdale.
