ON THE COVER
Future All - American? Who
knows? Perhaps Dennis Pressley, 10
year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clar
ence Pressley, will, like countless
others before him, go on from
neighborhood games to become a
star on high school and college
teams.
Dennis is in the 5th grade at
Pisgah Forest School. His father is
employed in the Pulp Mill and his
mother in Endless Belt.
Below: As October nears an end,
Halloween approaches. Halloween
... a day with a rich background of
superstition and ancient customs . . .
when costumed youngsters go from
door to door, ringing doorbells and
shouting, "Trick or treat!” ... or a
time when some might see what
this photographer saw last Hallo
ween.
